BoyleSports Extends Support for Irish Equestrian Racing with Multi-Track Sponsorship Deal

A significant betting operator, BoyleSports, has reinforced its dedication to Irish equestrian racing by securing a substantial sponsorship agreement with numerous tracks managed by Horse Racing Ireland (HRI).

Central to this agreement is a three-year prolongation of BoyleSports’ support for the renowned Irish Grand National, marking a fortunate 13 years of backing for this esteemed steeplechase.

However, the collaboration extends beyond a single race. BoyleSports is also elevating its involvement at Leopardstown, Navan, and Tipperary racecourses.

Due to BoyleSports’ munificence, the 2024 Irish Grand National will feature an unprecedented prize fund of €500,000 (approximately $543,000), establishing it as the most lucrative race on the Irish National Hunt schedule.

BoyleSports will also lend its name to the Leopardstown Summer Series, a pinnacle of Irish summer racing and social calendar. This nine-race series, spanning from May to August, guarantees top-tier racing and amusement.

Furthermore, BoyleSports is extending its support to the Grade 3 Joe Mac Novice Hurdle at Tipperary and the Grade 2 Webster Cup Chase at Navan.

Vlad Kaltenieks, Chief Executive Officer of BoyleSports, expressed his excitement: “We are delighted to maintain our sponsorship of the BoyleSports Irish Grand National. This race has provided us with numerous exhilarating finishes throughout the years, and we are certain that this year and those to come will be no different.”

The ever-changing landscape of equestrian competition has one constant: our steadfast dedication to Irish racing. This dovetails seamlessly with our collaborators at Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) and their tracks nationwide.

“Betfair’s backing of Fairyhouse Racecourse commenced in 2014, and this broadened pact, now encompassing other HRI courses such as Leopardstown, Tipperary, and Navan, truly underscores the robust connection between the brand and these locations,” remarked Paul Dermody, Chief Executive of HRI Racecourses.

“The alliance with Irish racing will persist in delivering substantial business worth and prospects to Betfair, and we anticipate aiding them as they execute this accord.”
