Allwyn, the designated successor for the UK National Lottery’s operation, is preparing for a seamless handover. They have established a high-caliber executive team situated within the UK, demonstrating their commitment to the endeavor. Andria Vidler, a seasoned leader with experience at Tag Worldwide and EMI Music, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective October 1st. She will be joined by Alan Artz as Chief Financial Officer, contributing extensive financial knowledge to the organization.
Robert Chvátal, Allwyn’s CEO, conveyed his assurance in the newly formed team, emphasizing their commitment to optimizing the advantages the National Lottery provides to communities throughout the UK. This fresh leadership group, with its varied background, is well-positioned to introduce a new chapter for the National Lottery.
Camelots present co-chief executives, Neil Brocklehurst and Clare Swindell, will be leaving their positions following a transitional phase to assist their replacements and the staff. Chvátal conveyed his appreciation, stating, “I want to express my thanks to Clare, Neil, and the whole Camelot executive group for the exceptional efforts they have made for the National Lottery throughout numerous years.”
Allwyn will assume control of the UK National Lottery in February 2024. This comes after the successful finalization of Allwyn’s purchase of the UK branches of the existing manager, Camelot. Camelot UK will now be integrated into Allwyn’s UK lottery department.
