Better Collective Acquires Skycon to Expand US Presence and Enhance AdTech Capabilities

A prominent international sports wagering media conglomerate, Better Collective, has substantially broadened its American footprint through the $56 million purchase of Skycon Limited. This calculated maneuver will see Skycon, a performance marketing leader in the online gaming sector, integrate with Better Collective’s paid media branch.

This procurement significantly bolsters Better Collective’s ambitious expansion strategies. It not only solidifies their position within the United States market but also augments their current AdTech infrastructure with Skycon’s proficiency in profit-sharing frameworks.

Jesper Søgaard, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Better Collective, conveyed his excitement regarding the agreement, underscoring the collaborative potential between the two entities. He stressed that Skycon’s achievements with revenue-sharing structures perfectly complement Better Collective’s own strategic objectives.

The acquisition entails an initial disbursement of £25 million, with a prospective earn-out reaching £20 million contingent upon Skycon’s subsequent performance. Søgaard is optimistic that this alliance will capitalize on Better Collective’s media purchasing influence to further propel Skycon’s revenue escalation.
