Gaming1 Partners with Brugmann University Hospital to Develop Responsible Gaming Training Program

A gaming company, controlled by Ardent Group, providing casino and sports wagering services, has joined forces with the Gambling Clinic at Brugmann University Hospital to develop a new responsible gaming training program for its staff.

The gaming company has introduced responsible gaming education for all its personnel, the company stated, emphasizing that its objective in the industry is to deliver the best responsible gaming experience for its patrons in regulated online markets.

The company further mentioned that it has a duty to combat gambling dependency by offering players a safe and regulated gambling environment, as unregulated online operators are readily available in the market.

The company also stated that employee training has now become a crucial component of the operator’s strategy to place responsible gaming at the core of its operations, and the newly established responsible gaming department will now manage all related initiatives.

The company’s aim in collaborating with Brugmann University Hospital is to contribute to research on player behavior and create training modules tailored to the specific requirements of each job function within the company.

Every Gaming1 worker has finished the initial responsible gaming education unit, which will also be provided to all new hires as part of their introductory process.

Gaming1 stated that the unit covers all facets of responsible gaming, including management, prevention, and protection tools, as well as awareness for workers and players.

The unit also trains workers on key risk indicators and detection tools, making it easier for them to spot players at risk.

Gaming1 CEO Emmanuel Mewissen remarked: “A lawful industry only makes sense if it effectively safeguards players. As a legitimate participant in the gambling industry, we have a duty to combat gambling addiction.”

“Today, we want to open your eyes and explain the dangers of excessive gambling. I hope everyone in our organization is aware of this issue and works together to create a strong lawful sector.”

Gaming1 launched a new set of AI-powered responsible gaming tools last August, designed to monitor customer behavior and identify any early signs of problematic gambling.

The company stated that any customers identified as being at the highest risk level, according to its model, will receive rapid and comprehensive support from its internal player protection expert team.
