SG:certified, a consultancy firm, has recruited former Kindred Group leader Maris Catania as a senior consultant.
Catania will take on a pivotal role in her new position, crafting fresh material for SG:certified on the subject of responsible gaming, encompassing training, evaluations, best practice suggestions, comparative analysis, and research overviews. She will utilize her extensive experience at Kindred to furnish valuable insights and expertise to SG:certified.
Catania spent over 14 years at Kindred, most recently serving as the Head of Responsible Gambling and Research. After departing from that position in December 2022, she continued to work as a freelancer as the Head of Responsible Gambling Research for the group.
During her tenure at Kindred, Catania held various roles, including Head of Player Sustainability Research and Integrity Team, Integrity Analytics Manager, Fraud and Responsible Gambling Manager, and Fraud Analyst.
Prior to joining the gambling sector, Catania worked in theater, including as a drama instructor at Masquerade Theatre Arts School and as a drama animator for the Knights of St. James.
