Playtika, the social gaming firm, has brought on Jacob Mendel as their new Vice President of Blockchain Technology.
Mendel will be in charge of assisting Playtika in expanding into the realms of gaming finance and Web3.0 blockchain technology.
Mendel joins Playtika after serving for nearly three years as Executive Director of Blockchain Application Research at JPMorgan Chase.
Prior to that, he spent three years as Managing Director of the Blockchain Research Institute at Tel Aviv University, and also worked for over two years as General Manager of Cybersecurity at Intel.
He has also held other roles, including Senior Director of Cybersecurity in the Chief Technology Officer’s office at Broadcom. He also co-founded the security company SCsquare and served as its Chief Executive Officer for over 12 years.
